New Watersideink store opens

ONE of Northern Ireland’s leading office supplies companies, Ink World, has opened a new store in Londonderry.

This is the fifth store to launch in the province, with a further four scheduled to open by 2013.

There are now stores in Londonderry, Belfast, Cookstown, Glengormley and Newtownards, with a further six in the rest of the UK.

Local businessman Graham Rankin will own and operate the store from the Waterside area of the city.

He feels that his banking background has given him a sound business grounding to take on the new business.

He said, “I am absolutely delighted to launch the Ink World store in Londonderry.

“I have been researching the franchise for many months before identifying the right location in the City.

“The business-model that the Franchise offers was very appealing to me and the existing stores provided me with impressive figures which I will be striving to emulate in Derry.”

Harry Taylor owns the master licence for the Ink World Franchise in Northern Ireland and also owns the East Belfast store. He’s seen the company grow dramatically since it started and is looking for additional franchise partners to take on the new stores.

He said, “This is the first store to launch as part of our four year expansion plan, and to date it is trading fantastically well.

“Graham has invested a lot of time into researching the north West market and now stocks a massive range of printer cartridges, and wide selection of stationery as well as offering printing, binding and laminating facilities – a service we have found a growing demand for.”
