New works planned forformer citygas works onLecky Road
The Gasyard Development Trust is to revamp its centre at the old city gasworks site on the Lecky Road.
The Trust has plans for new partitions to facilitate a fitness suite as well as new windows in the gasworks drum element of the centre.
It’s applied for the “installation of new first floor within the large drum, including the provision of new partition walls to provide space for fitness suite, staff facilities and multi purpose room.
“New exterior windows shall also be added to the large drum. The new extension will follow the existing building appearance through its form until rendered finish.”
