NI Milk Cup’s ‘global appeal’

The worldwide focus the Milk Cup football tournament brings to the North Coast region is priceless.

That is the view of Trevor Clarke, general manager of the Best Western Magherabuoy House Hotel, Portrush.

“The enormous impact this international event has not only in the area but right across the world is one of the key off spins for the local tourist industry,” he maintains.

That is why the Best Western Magherabuoy House Hotel, situated just a few miles from the Giant’s Causeway, has enrolled as one the Milk Cup’s Club 30 supporters in the run up to the 30th anniversary of the event.

“We have been honoured to play our part in welcoming players, officials, supporters and friends of the Milk Cup for many years.

“The buzz the event brings to our hotel and the area is truly remarkable,” says Mr. Clarke.

“The Club 30 initiative is a great opportunity for local businesses to give something tangible back to the organisers and underpin our support for what they are doing.

“The Milk Cup is not only providing a world class visitor attraction in the heart of the area but it also gives a major boost to the local economy while giving this part of the world massive positive exposure to a global audience through TV and various other other media outlets.

“We at the Best Western Magherabuoy House Hotel are proud to support an event that has been a cornerstone of the tourism industry for 30 years and we wish the organisers every success during their 30th anniversary celebrations.”
