NI pupils magically transform from uniform to pyjamas in video collage

The primary one pupils from Birches Primary School near Portadown star in unique home videos montaged by one of the parents.

To the tune of Paulo Nutini’s ‘Pencil full of lead’ the collage of videos show the children enjoying their time at home.

The kids start in their school uniforms and magically change instantly into their pyjamas.

Some are in their bedrooms, some at their front door, others on a trampoline and one at their Wendy House.

The kids appear on swings and slides and the message is ‘Life is better in pyjamas. Stay home, stay safe.’

Parent Valerie Wilson said the parents had set up a Whatsapp group to keep in touch during the COVID-19 lockdown.

“A lot of the kids are a bit lonely so we thought we would do this to cheer them up.

“The kids loved it and loved seeing all the other kids as well,” she said.

Their P1 teacher Mrs Morrow and their classroom assistant Mrs Williamson also appear in the video.

We had to silence the music on our version of the video for copyright reasons.
