NIHE invests in homes

ONE HUNDRED and seven Housing Executive tenants in Ballymena District are to have external maintenance work carried out at their homes, in a contract representing £378,000 investment.

64 properties in the scheme are in Ballykeel 1 while the remaining properties are at Killane Park in Ahoghill village.

Commenting on this significant investment, Eric Woods, Ballymena District Manager said:

“This is good news, not just for the residents whose homes are included in the contract but also welcome investment in Ballymena Borough.

“This work will involve replacing existing single glazed windows with double glazed units, servicing and repairing others. We are using the opportunity to replace or repair external woodwork as well as carrying out a range of general repairs and repainting the properties. “
