NIHE pledges action against noisy tenants

the Housing Executive has confirmed that dealing with anti-social behaviour remains a priority in Larne.

Figures just released reveal that the Executive dealt with 73 reports of anti-social behaviour in the borough last year, with the majority – 69 in all – relating to “low-level activity”.

There was one repossession.

Across Northern Ireland, there were 4,667 cases with 87 per cent of these relating to minor incidents which were speedily resolved without recourse to legal action.

The problem of excessive noise, however, remains the biggest issue for complainants with reports relating to noisy neighbours and parties and clash of “lifestyle noise”.
