NIHE says takeadvantage now

HOUSING Executive (NIHE) Warm Homes Scheme Managers, Bryson Charitable Group and H&A Mechanical Services are encouraging Londonderry householders to prepare their homes for winter by having them insulated or installing a new central heating system during the summer months.

The scheme, which is funded by the Department for Social Development (DSD) and administered by the Housing Executive, provides eligible homeowners and private tenants with heating and insulation measures, which are installed for free under the Scheme.

To qualify, applicants must be in receipt of a qualifying benefit or tax credit such as Income Support, Income Related Employment Support Allowance, Income Based Job Seeker’s Allowance, Pension Credit, Child Tax Credit (with relevant income less than £15,860), Working Tax Credit, Disability Living Allowance, Attendance Allowance or Housing Benefit.
