Around 100 members of the Union, carrying banners, walked down Spencer Road in a peaceful demonstration in defence of NJC pay.

The Union was joined by members of other unions, including UNITE, the GMB, the SIPTU and the Public & Commercial Services Union (PCS).

In Londonderry the Trades Council organised the march from Ebrington Square at 12.30pm to arrive Guildhall Square at 1pm for a rally in support of striking workers. Members were asked to bring NIPSA flags and placards to the rallies.

As they walked a piper played music, as the attached video of the march shows.
