No cuts to maternity care - Robinson
A LOCAL MLA is pledging to oppose cuts to maternity services in Northern Ireland.
UUP representative Ken Robinson has signed up to a Royal College of Midwives campaign to ensure first class care for mothers in the province.
Mr Robinson said: “The birth rate is beginning to move upwards again, adding greater pressure to this already overstretched sector. The protection of quality maternity care standards is central to the future of our nation.”
