No electric shock

LURGAN borough council was to hold talks with the electric board over a delay in providing electric to residents in Pollock Drive in August 1967.

When the matter was raised at a the monthly meeting the Mayor, Jim Carson, said the new electric lines had not been connected to homes because of a lack of labour.
