No NW talks on DEL future
EMPLOYMENT Minister Dr Stephen Farry refused to be drawn on whether he has engaged with further and higher education institutions such as Magee and the North West Regional College on the potential scrappage of his Department.
UUP MLA Leslie Cree asked the Minister for Employment and Learning how he was engaging with further and higher education institutions in relation to the dissolution of his Department which promotes learning and skills and prepares people for work throughout Northern Ireland.
Dr Farry replied: “Any decision about the future of my Department will be taken by the Executive and the Assembly, not by me. I remain fully focused with my work programmes and continue to engage with both further education and higher education institutions on a wide range of issues.”
