No plans to close police stations
District Commander, Supt John Magill has said that there are no plans to close any police stations in the District.
Speaking last week, the Commander said that his priority was ‘officers on the ground dealing with crime’.
However, he added that the closure of any police station, wouldn’t mean that police wouldn’t be in the area. A closure would not ‘impact’ on visible presence,” he said.
