No room for complacency
OXFORD Reserves continued their fine run with another victory this time in the League cup against Richhill in Loughgall.
Oxford had a great opportunity to go a goal up early on when Crilly went through one on one with the keeper but his low shot was put behind for a corner.

This is how it stayed for the majority of the rest of the half as Oxford at times found it hard to get the ball down and play the football they have been in previous weeks.
Just before the half a great cross from Mulholland was put into the net from close range as Johnston was the quickest to react to put Oxford two up at half time.
The second half was barely five minutes in when McCrory scored Oxford's third with a looping drive from 20 yards into the roof of the net which gave the Richhill keeper no chance and effectively sealed the win.

As often happens, the goal gave Richhill a bit of a lift and they began to get more into the game as Oxford became complacent with the win seemingly in the bag. Fox and Totten were to come to the rescue on a couple of occasions as Oxford saw it out to full time to progress into the quarter finals where they will now meet Portadown BBOB this Saturday.
The squad and management would like to thank Richhill for their hospitality after the game and hope to have the opportunity to repay the favour in the future.
