No treasure could equal your soul

God’s eternal love has no time limits
Our gracious father is forever the same,
And His gentle spirit is always listening
He knows each of His children by name.
Oft we dwell so much on material things
Perhaps disappointments, setbacks and fear,
Let us simply believe, for His word proclaims
The message of peace, hope and good cheer.
‘Tis true life holds many misunderstandings
And some days are far from bright,
Now is the time to continue in faith
Unmoved by the present absence of sight.
For He has promised never to leave you
Rather restore you and make you whole;
No treasure on earth could purchase or equal
The priceless worth of your soul.
