Nominate your 'Good Spud' now

LAST month Ireland's leading potato brand, Wilson's Country teamed up with your favourite weekly newspaper to launch its 'Good Spud Awards' in a bid to recognise the province's unsung heroes.

In this, the inaugural year of the Awards, Wilson’s Country has been searching for nominations for unsung heroes in your local community who give up their own time and go to extra effort to help others.

Angus Wilson of Wilson’s Potatoes said: “We all know someone who regularly goes beyond the call of duty, an inspirational teacher, an enthusiastic coach or someone who is simply a good neighbour. We want Northern Ireland residents to nominate these unsung heros and give them the chance to walk away with a 2,000 holiday.
