Norma is just “incredible” thanks to project

Norma Kenna, who recently took part in the Cloughmill’s “Incredible Edible” Project now shares her culinary expertise with a group of local teenagers – whom she taught how to make jam.

Norma says taking part in this kind of project would have been unthinkable for her previously, as a brain tumour left her unable to use the left side of her body and with speech difficulties. She says the four-week cooking project has ‘made her feel useful again’.

“I really enjoy cooking again and the fact that I can share what I have learned with young people is wonderful. I feel as though I am making a real contribution to my community. This project has made a big difference to my life.”
