North Coast therapists take part in natural health fair

COMPLEMENTARY therapists from the North Coast are heading to Belfast this month to participate in Northern Ireland's biggest ever natural health fair.

Two therapists from the area and retailer Blue Moon will exhibit at the seventh annual Northern Ireland Complementary Therapies and Natural Health Fair at the Ramada Hotel on November 14.

The North Coast will be represented by Ballycastle aromatherapist Sinead Mathers, who makes her own natural balms - Mil All Natural Balms; Coleraine therapist and retailer, Claire Logan from Mystical who is an IET therapist and Rosie Stewart from Blue Moon in Portrush.

This year’s fair - open from 10am to 6pm – not only includes more than 120 exhibitors and 14 workshops but for the first time will also include a Yoga Zone and a book launch.

Fair organiser Sonia Longridge will be launching the book she co-authored with her late husband, psychotherapist, Bill Longridge– Raising Happy, Confident Children – and there will be special talks and workshops by practitioners focusing on the needs of children and families.

Tickets cost 6 though admission for under 12s is free. Tickets are available on the day at the Ramada or in advance from the Omni Centre at the Ramada Hotel. Admission to the talks/workshops is 3 [except Chrissie Astell: 5] - all profits from the workshops go to the N Ireland Children’s Hospice.
