North Road development to be named Marlborough Manor
Mid and East Antrim councillors have decided on a name for a new housing development on Carrick’s North Road.
A choice of three names was submitted to the council for the residential area, consisting of 24 dwellings.
These included the applicant’s preferred choice of Loughview Manor, Berkeley Manor, and Marlborough Manor.
Discussing the issue at Monday night’s meeting of the Operational Committee, members agreed on Marlborough Manor as it was felt this tied in with the address of nearby developments.
