North West Coeliac Group will host an Awareness Week of events from May 14 to 17, starting on the Monday with the official launch at Altnagelvin Hospital’s main reception between 12pm and 3pm.

There will also be an Information Table at the Central Library on Foyle Street on Monday, and on Tuesday there will be a Coffee Morning at Marks and Spencer, at Foyleside at 10am.

On Wednesday, a Sponsored Walk will leave Sainsbury’s Car Park at 7pm, taking in the Peace Bridge and back. Sponsorship forms are available from Audrey Daly, NWCG treasurer 028 7126 1375.

On Thursday, May 17, there will be a gluten-free dinner at the City Hotel, at 7.30pm, costing £17.50 per person. To book a place contact Audrey Daly on 028 7126 1375 or Julie McFadden 07736486015. New members welcome.
