Northend United Youth FC clear up 'misunderstanding'
SIR - Having read the letter written by Mr Stephen Campbell, of North End Football Club, in last week's newspaper, I would like to apologise if there has been a misunderstanding with what had been written by me the previous week.
The Northend United Youth FC Committee and I would wish to make it clear that in no way was the Saturday Morning League club, North End FC, being classified as a non cross-community club. Instead, it was the case that we were merely stating our own club policies.
If this has caused Mr Campbell, the manager, players and supporters of North End FC any stress, I again would like to apologise for any misunderstanding.
