Northern Trust provides information for everyone in Magherafelt

THE new look Northern Trust website with new content and enhanced features has everything that service users, their carers and the general public need or want to find out about the Trust in one place.

Pierce Boyle from Good Morning Magherafelt said, “A lot of older people are now familiar with the Internet and once they have built up their confidence in using it they can easily access the Northern Trust site, which contains information on services in our area, contact details and the latest news. It is a useful resource for the whole community.”

The website www.northerntrust.hscni.net was designed with the needs of the Northern Trust’s audience in mind. Navigation through the site is simple with the latest news and updates highlighted on the homepage. It has a wealth of information, available 24/7.

The site contains a dedicated section for services including a complete A-Z guide of Northern Trust services, information for carers, details of support groups, specific pages for hospital sites and a Live Well section offering advice on giving up smoking, physical activity, sexual health, alcohol and drugs, dementia, stroke prevention, mental health, falls prevention and nutrition.

‘Find your local service’ is a useful feature, which allows you to use your postcode or the name of your town to find services in your area such as the local opticians or pharmacy.

The website also provides access to information published by the Trust: strategies, reports, leaflets, policies and procedures. Trust Board information: agendas, papers and minutes as well as latest news.

The site aims to provide up-to-date information for everyone, people who use our services, carers, people looking for jobs, the media and general public.
