A number of local reports suggested such a device had been left at an ATM outside a supermarket in the town within the past week.

However, a PSNI spokesperson has told the Tyrone Times and Mid Ulster Mail: “Police were called to a store at 11.30am on Thursday following a report that a skimming device had been attached to a cash machine. However, nothing untoward was found.”
