Now is the time to step out in faith

Though year by year many changes occur

Our gracious Lord remains the same,

And His gentle spirit is ever around us

He knows each of His children by name.

Oft we dwell so much on things that sadden

Perhaps disappointments, failure and fear,

Let us simply believe as His word proclaims

The message of hope and good cheer.

‘Tis true life holds many misunderstandings

And some days are far from bright,

Now is the time to step out in faith

Unmoved by the present absence of light.

Mindful He has promised never to leave you

Rather restore you and make you whole,

Nothing on earth could replace or value

The priceless worth of your soul.
