“The proprietor was interested in developing modern techniques of interacting and communicating effectively with his customers, through ICT and social media. Under the Food, Drink and Tourism strand of ESP, NRC completed a 15 day Research and Development project with Rocca where a bespoke e-marketing strategy was developed.”

The project work undertaken, involved researching and developing a new website and mobile app which enabled Rocca to connect directly with their customers where they could inform them of news, events and offers and conduct marketing campaigns effectively.

Owner of the company Stephen Henry said, “Working in collaboration with NRC, we were able to identify a number of key communication areas for development.

“The project enabled more targeted communication campaigns and integration in our marketing activities. Our customers have benefited greatly as it has never been easier to find out information about the restaurant and share experiences. We found that working with the College brought a new dimension to our outlook and the process was extremely rewarding.”
