Nursery staff give up their holidays for a worthy cause

TWO members of staff at Ballyhenry Nursery School are giving up part of their summer holidays to bring early years education to underprivileged children in other parts of the world.

Miss Jacqueline Ramsey will work in a village school in Rwanda promoting peace and reconciliation, while Miss Kerry Eves will work in a pre-school setting in Bolivia.

Both nursery assistants recently received generous donations towards the organisations they will be representing - 'Comfort Rwanda' and 'PEPE'. The money was raised by the children of Ballyhenry Nursery who completed a sponsored trike ride in May.
