James Patrick McDonagh (49), Drumlin Drive, Lurgan, was fined £175 for possession of herbal cannabis on November 21 last year.

He was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.

The court heard that police received a report from nursing staff at Craigavon Area Hospital that a small bag containing a green substance had been found on the defendant. It was confirmed to be cannabis.
