Malachy Tighe passed away on August 5, peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital.

Malachy was the beloved husband of the late Rose; loving father of Veronica, Paddy, Tony, Dympna, Mary and the late Malachy and baby Rose; father-in-law to Jim, Mary, Francis, Susan and Ursula; much loved grandfather and great grandfather; and dear brother of the late Mick, Josie, Sarah and Kay.

The funeral took place on Saturday from his home to St Patrick’s Church, Derrymacash, for Requiem Mass, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing daughters, sons, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and entire family circle.

Moira McAleese

The death has occurred of Moira McAleese, who passed away peacefully on August 8.

Moira was the dearly beloved wife of the late Vincent; much loved mother of Brendan, Jerome and Aileen; beloved mother-in-law of Orla, Carol and Barney; loving granny of Stephanie and husband Steve, Mark and wife Krissy, Amy, Cliodhna and the late David; and much loved sister of Monica, Patricia and Brian.

Her funeral was held on Monday from her late residence to St Patrick’s Church, Derrymacash, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Very deeply regretted by her loving sons, daughter, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters, brother, and family circle.

Ivan Yarr

Ivan Yarr passed away peacefully on August 7 at Laganvale Nursing Home, Moira.

Late of Newforge Park, Magheralin, Ivan was the beloved husband of Winnie.

The funeral was held on Monday in Magheralin Parish Church, followed by burial at St Aidan’s Parish Churchyard, Glenavy.

Donations, if desired, may be made for Cancer Research and Alzheimer’s Society, c/o 20 Ballinderry Road, Lisburn.

Ivan will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his sorrowing wife and the entire family circle.

Kathleen Wethers (NÉE Nicholson)

Kathleen Wethers passed away on August 8, at Newry Hospice.

Late of Donaghcloney, Kathleen was the wife of the late Sidney and sister of Eric, Frank, Lexi, Raymond, Ellie and Rosemary.

Her funeral took place in St Patrick’s Church, Donaghcloney, on Tuesday, followed by interment in Drumlough Presbyterian Church Burying Ground.

Donations, if desired, may be made for Newry Hospice, c/o Malcomsons Funeral Service, 7 Robert St, Lurgan.

Kathleen will be lovingly remembered by her brothers, sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and family circle.

Brian McConville

The death has occurred of Brian McConville, who died suddenly on August 9.

Late of Gilpinstown, Brian was the beloved father of Christopher, Michael, Michael, Ciaran and Daire; loving son of Margaret and the late Tommy; and brother of David, Paul, Eithne, Tom, Larry, Jerome, Betty, Angela, Peadar, Liam and Michael.

His funeral will be held on Thursday from his mothers residence in 48 Oakdene Park, Bleary. at 9:45am to St Peter’s Church, Lurgan, for 10:30am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St Colman’s cemetery.

Deeply regretted by the entire family circle.

John Bradford Harshaw

John Harshaw passed away on August 10, peacefully at hospital.

John was the beloved husband of the late Sarah Jane (Jean) and much loved father of Brian, Lorna, Gary and Adrian.

His funeral took place from 27 The Poplars, Donaghcloney, on Wednesday, followed by interment in St Bartholomew’s Parish Churchyard.

John will be lovingly remembered by his sorrowing sons; daughter; daughters-in-law Stella, Kathryn, Helen and Patricia; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and family circle at home and away.
