Deaths in the community

Joan Hunter passed away on July 14th, peacefully at home.

Joan was the beloved wife of Bertie and devoted mum of Nigel, Judith, Lynda and Ruth.

A service of thanksgiving was held in Magheralin Parish Church on Friday, followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard.

Donations, if desired, may be made for African Children’s Choir and Wycliffe Bible Translators, c/o Malcomsons Funeral Service, 7 Robert St, Lurgan.

Joan will be lovingly remembered by Bertie; Nigel and Lynda; Judith and Mark; Lynda and Alan; Ruth and Alan; and grandchildren Lydia, Aaron, Adam, Jordan, Jonathan, Holly, Dylan and Morgan.

PATricia Houston

Patricia Houston passed away peacefully in hospital on July 16th.

Patricia was the dearly beloved wife of the late Alex; much loved mother of Theresa and Thomas; beloved mother-in-law of Siobán; and loving nanny of Nicole, Lauren, Megan, Ryan and Kieran.

The funeral took place on Saturday from her late residence in Craigavon to St Anthony’s Church for Requiem Mass, followed by interment in St John’s Cemetery, Lylo.

Very deeply regretted by her loving daughter, son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and family circle.
