Deaths in the community

The death has taken place of Jim McGeown of Eulgar House, Dunbin Big, Knockbridge, Dundalk and formerly of O’Neill’s Terrace, Cornakinnegar, Lurgan on May 26 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

His funeral was on Tuesday to the Church of the Holy redeemer, Dundalk followed by burial at St Patrick’s Cemetery.

He is mourned by his wife Marisa, sons Eulich and Gary, mother Rose, brothers John, Patsy, Barry and Brian, sisters Isobel, Roseleen, Ann and Patricia and the McGeown families at home and abroad.

Harry (Jim) Hinton

The death has taken place suddenly on May 27 of Jim Hinton at his home in Lurgan’s Avenue Road.

Mr Hinton was married to the late Margaret and father to Gregory and Jim and father-in-law to Janet.

The funeral service was in Malcolmsons Funeral Home in Lurgan with interment later at Lurgan Cemetery
