Deaths in the community

Carmel McCaul

Carmel McCaul of Carrigart Manor died on May 4.

She was the much loved wife of PJ and mother of Noreen, Cora and Geraldine.

Her funeral took place last Thursday at 10.15am from her late residence to St Anthony’s Church for 11am Requiem Mass.

Her death is deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, daughters, son-in-law Jonathan, grandchildren Sophie and Lauren and her family circle.

Dennis Norman Devine

Dennis Norman Devine passed peacefully at Aughnacloy House on May 7.

He was the dearly loved husband of Meta and beloved father of Gregory, Moyra and Colleen.

His funeral took place in Malcomsons’ Funeral Home last Friday at 2.30pm.

Nuala Lynn

The death of Nuala Lynn (nee McCann) took place on Sunday, May 13.

She passed peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital surrounded by her family and friends.

She was the beloved wife of Colum, loving mother of Marc, Stephen, Lisa, Paul and dear sister of Jim and Linda.

Her funeral took place on Tuesday at 12.45pm from her home in Lavery Avenue to St Peter’s Church for 1.30pm Requiem Mass.

Seamus Murray

The death of Seamus Murray took place on Sunday, May 13.

Seamus passed peacefully in his home in Derrytrasna.

He was beloved husband of the late Marie and loving father of Annette and father-in-law of Eric. He was much loved grandfather of Aileen and Dillon and dear brother of Bell, Maggie and Sarah.

His funeral took place on Tuesday at 11am from his home to St Mary’s Church for 12noon Requiem Mass.

Elizabeth Maud Lewis

The death has occurred of Elizabeth Maud Lewis who passed peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital on Sunday, May 13.

She was beloved wife of the late John, dearest mother of Kathleen, Shirley, Samuel and the late Marie.

She was beloved grandmother of Ashley and Lisa and great grandmother of Matthew.

Her funeral will take place on Friday at 9.45am followed by committal in Roselawn Cemetery.

Margaret (Peggy) McKenna (nee Martin)

Margaret (Peggy) McKenna died suddenly on Sunday, May 13.

She was beloved wife of Chris, loving mother of Tracy, Nicola, Paul and Kathryn.

She was also dear sister of Joan , Una, Laureen, Michael, Jim, Colm and Tony.

Peggy’s funeral took place yesterday (Wednesday) from her home in Carrigart at 10.15am to St Anthony’s Church, Craigavon for 11am Requiem Mass.

She is sadly missed by her sorrowing husband, son and his partner Lindsey, daughters, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law and entire family circle.
