Margaret enjoyed bringing up her family

Mrs Margaret Dale, formerly of Mountpleasant Banbridge, passed away at Bannview Private Nursing Home on Tuesday June 10.

She was the dearly loved wife of Norman who predeceased her nine years ago.

Formerly Miss Margaret Dickson from Smiths Hill Drumnagally, Banbridge she became Mrs Dale in the late fifties. She had two sons Ronald and Richard.

She worked as a clerk with Anthony Cowdy and Sons and then moved to Ballievey Bleaching Company, again working in the office.

She enjoyed bringing up her family. She also enjoyed her garden and took up swimming in later life.

She was a regular attender at Public Worship and saw many changes in Bannside Presbyterian Church living through the ministries of Dr Anderson, Eric McCauley, Ernest Rea, Uel Matthews and the present ministry of Dr Mark Gray.

She is survived by her two sons Ronald and Richard (Banbridge), daughters-in-law Irene and Linda, grandchildren Kathryn and Christopher. To these and all other relatives sincere sympathy has been 
extended.

The funeral took place from the home of her son Richard for a service in Bannside Presbyterian Church on Thursday June 12. The hymns ‘What a Friend we have in Jesus’ and ‘Lead us Heavenly Father Lead Us’ were sung and Mr Alastair Mitchell presided at the organ.

The interment took place afterwards in the New Cemetery. Family flowers were placed on the grave and donations in lieu are being sent to William Bell and Co Funeral Directors, 23 Kenlis Street, Banbridge, BT32 3LR for Cancer Research.

William Bell and Co had charge of the funeral arrangements.
