Office meeting for Castlerock application

A Coleraine councillor has described a proposed development in Castlerock as ‘significant for the town’.

Speaking at last Tuesday night’s Planning Committee, councillor William King asked for an office meeting about an application which proposes to build 20 homes at 58 Sea Road.

The application appeared on the schedule as a refusal on the grounds that Planners felt it did not provide a quality residential environment and may result in town cramming.

Requesting an office meeting, UUP councillor, William King told the meeting: “This is as significant development for Castlerock. I have been told that many of the issues listed by planners can be addressed.”
