Inspector Paul McCracken stresses how important it is for people to report suspicious activity to police immediately: “Police can’t be everywhere at all times but we can get to anywhere quickly when we need to. We need the community to be our eyes and ears at times. If someone reports suspicious activity to us immediately it vastly increases our chances of making arrests or picking up on important evidence.”

Inspector McCracken concluded: “In the case of an emergency please dial 999 or please call the non-emergncy number 101 if you need to speak to police and it’s not urgent.”
