Old Boys’ Band set for a milestone anniversary

A SPECIAL reunion service is being planned to mark the 50th anniversary of First Larne Old Boys’ Silver Band.

The service will be held in First Larne Presbyterian Church on Sunday, May 13 at 7pm, and the current band committee is working hard to finalise all the necessary arrangements. It is hoped the evening will provide an opportunity for old and new members to get together over a cup of tea.

The band will lead the praise at the service and former members are invited to play with the band for the evening or, if they prefer, just to attend the event. Rehearsals for the event will take place on Monday, May 7 at 8pm in the basement of First Larne Presbyterian Church.
