Old Dalriads to hold Evening of Music
THIS Saturday (March 16th), Dalriada Music Department is organising a concert to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the school on its present site.
The Department is hoping that former music students will take the opportunity to come back to school to sing or play. It is hoped to perform some old favourites from previous evenings including the Cantique de Jean Racine, selections fron Vivaldi’s Gloria, Rutter’s ‘When the Saints’ and possibly the Hallelujah Chorus.
There will be an rehearsal in the afternoon, a buffet supper followed by the evening performance and plenty of time to catch up. The dress code for the evening is smart casual. The concert will commence at 7.30pm followed by coffee in the refectory.
