Olympic rower to speak at youth event in Waringstown

Richard, a member of the Great Britain lightweight four rowing team that won silver at the London Olympics, was due to join members for a special interview where he was expected to share his faith.

As well as being an international rower, Richard is also a member of Coleraine Baptist Church and holds fast to his Christian faith in the midst of his international success.

The Crave Youth Fellowship at Waringstown Church of Ireland will also be joined by Ryan Griffith, a worship leader from Belfast CFC who has quickly became one of Northern Irelands most prominent worship leaders. He will lead worship on the evening.
