Ombudsman appeal after Ballymena incident

THE Police Ombudsman's Office has appealed for information about an incident in Ballymena in the early hours of Saturday, September 25.

It happened at Ballymoney Street, near the junction with William Street, at around 1.30am as police were dealing with a number of people beside a taxi rank.

A spokesman for the Police Ombudsman’s Office said: “We have received a complaint in relation to this incident and would appeal for anyone who was in the area and saw what happened to get in touch on 028 9082 8705 during office hours.
