One life. What’s it all about?

The Christian view of life and what it is all about, will be the theme of the new version of the world wide acclaimed Christianity Explored course which will commence on Wednesday 18 January at 8pm for seven weeks in Magheramason Church Hall.

This popular course, based on Mark’s gospel and featuring a DVD presentation by Rico Tice, is produced by All Souls Church, Langham Place in London, has now been translated into 20 different languages and continues to grow.

Each study consists of an opening discussion and then a 30 minute DVD presentation followed by further discussion. Participants will be provided with a personal course handbook and will have an opportunity to ask questions or share their views or concerns in small study groups of five or six people.

The minister of the congregation, Rev David Hillen, is looking forward to the course and said he believed that the relaxed and informal format of the presentation was attractive and appropriate for those seeking to know and find out about what the Christian faith teaches about life, who Jesus was and why He came, and would invite anyone who would be interested to come along on Wednesday evening.

Everyone will be personally received and individually welcomed, Church goers and non church goers alike, and invited to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits on arrival. Every effort will be made to ensure that no one feels intimidated or embarrassed in any way. You don’t need to know anything about the Bible, you won’t be asked to read aloud, pray or sing, and you can ask any question you want.
