One month prison term for possession of cannabis

Dat Chung Duong, whose address was given to the court as Stevenson Park, Lurgan, admitted possession of cannabis resin on November 14 last year.

He appeared by way of videolink from Maghaberry prison and the sentence will run concurrently with a term he is presently 
serving.

The court heard police went to the defendant’s address.

He invited them in and they could smell cannabis.

He admitted he had recently smoked a joint and a small bag of herbal cannabis was found.
