One person believed dead in car crash
One person is believed to have died and four others were injured in a two car crash in Co Tyrone today. Altnagelvin hospital in Londonderry which treated the injured says it is now back to normal asking people to stay away from its casualty department while it dealt with the victims of the fatal road accident near Sion Mills.
The Western Health and Social Care Trust had earlier today urged people not to go to Altnagelvin hospital’s Accident and Emergency department unless absolutely necessary but now says the department is again operating as normal.
The condition of the four injured people is not yet known.
