Open air gospel service

COUNCILLORS have agreed to grant Ballymoney Gospel Hall permission to use Riverside Park.

During a recent Leisure and Amenities Committee meeting, members heard that the venue would be used for an open air gospel service.

The report explained: ‘A further request has been received seeking permission to again use Riverside Park, Ballymoney. Ballymoney Gospel Hall would like to hold open air gospel services on Friday, June 4 from 7pm to 7.30pm at the Duck Pond car park area and Monday, June 7 from 7pm to 7.30pm at the Bravallen Road car park.

‘It is recommended that Council gives its approval to this request.’

It was proposed by Alderman Harry Connolly and seconded by Cllr Anita Cavlan.
