BHF need help to beat heart disease

BIG-hearted Coleraine people are being asked to support a new campaign to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.

The charity, which has a shop on Kingsgate Street, has created a special edition diary in partnership with international stationery giant, Collins.

The red diary will go on sale next month and 85p from each one sold will go straight to BHF to help fund pioneering research, support and care for heart patients and their families.

Collins has pledged to raise funds for the charity as part of an exclusive three year partnership.

The diary will join BHF’s line up of special edition products and will also be available from retailers including Staples and Amazon.co.uk, priced £8.49.

Amit Aggarwal, head of corporate partnerships at the British Heart Foundation, said: “The funds raised through the sale of the Collins BHF 2013 diaries will help us carry out our life-saving work and make a real difference to the lives of heart patients across the UK to help beat heart disease.”

Julie Lynch, sales and marketing director of Collins, said:

“Heart disease is a terrible problem which is prevalent throughout the UK. It is important to us that we deliver a project which will have a tangible impact on thousands of people’s lives – our partnership with BHF will do exactly that. BHF is an incredible cause and one that we are honoured to support.”
