Prime Minister Cameron visits Coleraine

Prime Minister David Cameron visited Coleraine this morning, as part of a one day trip to Northern Ireland.

Bann Rowing Club, home of Coleraine Olympians Alan Campbell and the Chambers brothers was Mr Cameron’s first stop on the North Coast.

At the boat club Mr Cameron met some of Bann’s future stars and took a trip down memory lane looking at old photographs.

A reception at Coleraine Town Hall was the next stop for the Prime Minister.

Invited guests included councillors and members of local sports clubs, former Olympians Richard Archibald and Emma and Louise Robinson.

Sally Brown, who will take part in the paralympics later this month was also present.
