2nd Limavady Indoor bowlers raise funds
SECOND Limavady Indoor Bowling Club would like to thank all the bowlers from the Limavady District, Londonderry and County Donegal who, during 20 weeks on a Thursday night over the months of April through August, supported and gave donations during the “Summer Fun Bowls” to raise money for charity.
A total of £1300.00 was raised for charity with £650.00 donated to the charity Limavady Branch of the British Heart Foundation and £650.0 donated to the charity Brainwaves N.I.
“We wish all the bowlers who took part good luck with their clubs in their respective leagues in the coming season 2012/2013,” said Jim Spiers, the club’s Secretary.
