A Catholic and not a second class citizen

AS a Roman Catholic and ratepayer in Lisburn my response to Lisburn Nationalist (Letters last week) is - wise up.

I have lived in Lisburn for 50 years and in no way feel a second class citizen now or when the UDR memorial goes up in Lisburn.

I have some very good ex-UDR friends, some have lost their lives so we can walk the streets of Lisburn without IRA bombs going off. Do you not think in every group of people you will always get a few bad people? I still will shop in Lisburn and so will my friends and relatives after the UDR memorial goes up.

When you’re walking past it in the future, close your eyes, walk into a lamp-post; maybe that will wise you up.
