A tale of two cities?
AS an avid reader of the Ulster Star and in particular the sports section, I have to confess an article on page 27 last week opened my eyes.
I refer to the item on Olympic spend and, if these facts can be verified, then without doubt Northern Ireland is losing out big time.
Sometimes I do wonder where Lisburn fits into the scheme of things. The recent announcement by the Sinn Fein Culture Minister that the Northern Ireland Executive has approved an additional funding boost of £12.6 million for Londonderry City of Culture, leaves a bitter taste,
One can only express a view that Northern Ireland contains only Belfast and Londonderry or, to be more cynical, the cities of the First and Deputy First Ministers.
