Annaclone footpaths fear

Can the Roads Service within the Department of Regional Development explain to me and to the greater number of people living in the Annaclone area why, when the Roads Service has a large amount of money still in reserves that we cannot have our footpaths from the housing developments to our local post office and petrol station?

It saddens me when I see footpaths being built along stretches of roads, for example the bridge at Katesbridge up to the Greenan Road to nowhere!

There have been enough accidents due to the fact no footpath is in place. This is just not on.
