At First Light

Acclaimed traditional musicians, At First Light, take Limavady by storm on Friday, 12 October, at 8pm.

Appearing at the town’s Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre, At First Light’s energy, virtuosity, and imagination has won them a worldwide reputation, and a fistful of international awards to back it up.

Mixing traditional Irish songs with the power and delicacy of duelling pipes, fiddle, whistles, guitar, bouzouki and bodhran, Donal O’Connor, John McSherry, Francis McIllduff and Ciara McCrickard create a sonic landscape that takes the listener on a journey of discovery from the roots to the future of the Irish tradition, described as equal parts grace and danger.
