Bouquets for the Gleno golden girls

President May Wilson welcomed everyone to the April meeting of Gleno WI and introduced John Grant, Physical Exercise Leader from Larne Borough Council, who put the ladies through their paces.

John demonstrated a range of exercises that the members can do in their chairs, so there was no escaping exercise.

He also delivered an inspiring talk about health and general fitness.

Even so, the members still tucked into a tasty supper.

Ballot winner for April was Valerie Moore.

Healthy tip competition winner was Tracey Mcllwaine.
