Demi Bennett, a primary seven pupil, received her prize from maths teacher Mrs Bowers, Maths teacher when she accompanied the rest of her class to the college’s taster day.

Congratulating Demi, Mrs Bowers said: “At the college we run brainteaser competitions every month, they are a way of getting a bit of healthy rivalry going between classes and to remind pupils that maths can be fun!”.

“It was so good to see such a response from the P6 and P7 pupils at our open night and it is clear that the primary schools in the area are doing some great work to promote the subject amongst their pupils.”
